  • 1 pound lamb or chicken, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 cup mango powder
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

Heat the oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the lamb or chicken and cook until browned on all sides. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more.

Add the turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and mango powder and cook for 1 minute more.

Add the yogurt, heavy cream, and salt to taste and stir to combine.
